Lamlas calls on German Foreign Ministry to cooperate in development of ports

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and German Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Philip Lars Marcella, discussed on Sunday, a number of service and development issues and future plans during a meeting in the capital, Aden.
Lamlas, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Capital for Development Affairs, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, stressed the local authority’s interest in opening prospects for cooperation with the German side, in the files of port development and investment in industrial zones.
He pointed to several challenges facing the work of the local authority, foremost of which is the problem of internal displacement, stressing the success of efforts in resolving many crises and achieving development progress.
Lamlas expressed the local authority’s need for rehabilitation and training programs to enhance the efficiency of the cadre, pointing out that Aden enjoys a strategic location, and reviewed the threats of illegal immigration from the Horn of Africa.
The two sides discussed the general situation of the country, specifically in the capital, Aden, and the efforts made within the framework of peace, and the repercussions of stopping the export of crude oil and its impact on living life.
