Lamlas chairs first meeting of the committee of preparing the plan and budget for the year 2021

The Committee for preparing the plan and budget of the capital Aden, held its first meeting on Thursday, under the chairmanship of the governor of the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Chairman of the Committee.

The Governor started the meeting with a speech during which he stressed the need to complete the plan and budget for the year 2021 in accordance with the requirements of the needs and priorities of the citizens and their services to raise the level and improve the services provided to him and in accordance with what is required by the new phase of the construction and development process.

Lamlas added, “The general trends of the next year’s plan and budget should be dedicated to digging out the sectors associated with society and take into account the urban expansion witnessed in the capital Aden, the remarkable increase in the population, as well as the large numbers of displaced and immigrants present in it, and keep pace with the changes that have occurred during the past five years. ”

The committee in its meeting, reviewed a number of proposed plans and budgets from the governorate’s executive offices and districts, in which discussions were held and referred to the sub-committee.

The meeting touched on the indicators of revenue sectors, which are the most important pillars of the plan and the investment program, as well as discussing the interventions and projects of international organizations with the aim of preventing overlap and duplication between the contents of the investment budget and those interventions.
