Lamlas directs the executive agencies in Aden to facilitate citizens’ transactions

Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, on Monday, at the regular meeting of the directors of the districts of Aden, the Office of Public Works and Roads, the Cleaning Fund, and the Land Protection Unit, assigned the local authority agencies in the city to expedite the procedures for licensing construction and renovation applications.

The meeting ended with the imposition of procedures to facilitate transactions for licenses to practice professions, the dispensing of commercial meters, and the completion of public works offices’ tasks, in addition to arranging an expanded meeting in the coming days, to address the problems facing investment.

Lamlas stressed the importance of cooperation with the local community and completing routine transactions for citizens, pointing to achieving successes in developing revenues in various districts and the executive offices, while raising the pace of performance and improving the administrative level.

The meeting reviewed mechanisms for coordinating cooperation between the local authority in the districts and community committees, in order to serve citizens in the capital, Aden, and adherence to law and order, and touched on the evaluation of the Land Protection Unit during the past period, and its prevention of random construction and violations in the land file.
