Lamlas discusses with director of “CARE” organization the quality of its interventions in vital sectors in the capital Aden

The Governor of the capital Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, discussed on Wednesday, with Mr. Aaron Brend, the country director of “CARE” organization, the organization’s interventions in Aden the capital in the vital service sectors.
In the meeting, the Governor praised the interventions and projects of “CARE”, which included a number of the most important sectors in Aden, most notably, the sectors of education, health, technical education and vocational training, in addition to the services sector such as water and sanitation, and others.
The governor described “CARE” as a prestigious organization, stressing that its great humanitarian asset in Aden made it a subject of respect and appreciation of all people in Aden.
Lamlas added, “As you see today, Aden is safe and stable, and the movement of construction and development continues, and there is nothing for international organizations to be afraid of to move its headquarters to Aden, and carry out their work and their activities from here.”
In the meeting, the Governor Lamlas discussed the most prominent interventions and projects of “CARE” organization in the capital, Aden, and reviewed with Mr. Brend the contents of CARE’s agenda of projects in the capital Aden and the level of their implementation, as well as the most prominent difficulties facing the organization’s office in Aden.
The meeting discussed ways of coordination and joint cooperation between the local authority and “CARE” organization, and agreed on some points that serve the close relationship between the local authority and the organization’s office in Aden and to enhance ways of cooperation and joint action between them.
