Lamlas: Eager to Strengthen Relations with All Southern as Our Strength is in Our Lineup but Our Weakness is in Our Dividedness
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]P[/su_dropcap]olitical department of the general secretariat of the southern transitional council organized a consultative meeting for southern intellects, politicians and research centers as part of the department’s activities.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, secretary general of the council and Brigadier Nasser Al-Saadi, member of the council’s presidency. Khaled Ba Muhdef, chairman of the political department expressed his appreciation for those who responded to the invitation adding that the department is eager for such meetings for exchanging experiences and recognizing political analyses of experienced intellects.
Ahmed Lamlas presented the council’s efforts on all levels to deal with all political files according to the expectations and unity of the southern people and to avoid conspiracies targeting the southern unity and lineup.
He said: “Several parties tried to create conflicts in the south according to false information and when we noticed that we contacted our brothers on the other party asserting to them that the southern strength is in unity and their weakness is in dividedness. I went with Mr. Fadl Al-Gaadi to Sira – Kriter and had breakfast there together with tree leaves in our hands”.
Lamlas asserted that the council reaches for all southern as the south will never be but with all southern. He added that marginalization and expulsion can no longer be tolerated as the whole world is like a small village now.
Attendants discussed several political and services files indicating that the council succeeded in dealing with all files along the previous stage. They also indicated that although the council is relatively new but it proved its efficiency in assuming its responsibilities, proving more than once its revolutionary and political legitimacy as a southern party that can achieve the southern people’s expectations.
At the end of the meeting, attendants expressed their willingness to provide the council with political advices based on legal facts and rational research to help the council plan for future scenarios.
