Lamlas holds meetings to discuss ways to support educational process, activate role of Transport, and secure selling bread and roti at exceptional price

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, on Sunday, held a series of meetings with officials in a number of sectors, during which he discussed ways to support the educational process, activate the role of transport administration, and secure, facilitate and control the production and sale of bread and roti.

In the first meeting, Governor Lamlas discussed with Mr. Awad Abdullah Nabhan, advisor to the Minister of Education, ways to support the educational process in the capital, Aden.

Lamlas listened from Mr. Nabhan, to an explanation of a set of visions, perceptions and proposals that could support the educational process in the capital, Aden, and a review of some successful models in this field.

The Governor of the capital assigned Mr. Awad Abdullah Nabhan to prepare an integrated regulation for the Education Support Fund, stressing the importance of accelerating work and transforming ideas into achievements on the ground to ensure assistance and support for the educational process and to confront the problems facing this sector in the capital.

In another context, Governor Lamlas met with supervisor of Aden sector at Hayel Saeed Anam Trading Group, Abdul Wahab Ali.

The meeting was devoted to discussing the appropriate mechanisms to complete the procedures and steps of the program presented by the local authority to secure, facilitate and control the production and sale of roti and bread at a fixed and exceptional price, within a plan that lasts for three months as a first stage.

The local authority has identified 73 bakeries in eight districts, which will cover and pay financial differences to secure quantities of flour for the bakeries at subsidized prices and distribute them daily according to a well-thought-out and organized plan and mechanism that are being finalized by the local authority and the Trade and Industry Office, in coordination and arrangement with the grain mills of Hayel Saeed Anam Group.

In the third meeting, the Governor of the capital, Aden, got briefed by a number of officials of the local institution for land transport in the capital, Aden, about the difficulties and obstacles facing the institution, and the mechanisms to address and solve them.

Governor Lamlas directed the leadership of the Land Transport Corporation to prepare a plan and an integrated detailed vision that would reactivate the role of the Transport administration, setting in the context next Sunday a date for holding another meeting in the presence of the members of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, including the representative of the Ministry of Transport and the Transport Office of Aden, to agree on the mechanism and plan and approve it.

It is worth noting that this series of meetings comes within the efforts made by the local authority to activate the role of sound and effective administrative and institutional work and to confront and address issues and problems related to service and development areas that citizens suffer from.
