Lamlas inaugurates launching 14 projects of water and sanitation in Aden the capital with support of UAE

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, launched 14 water and sanitation projects with the support of the United Arab Emirates.

Lamlas said: “We are continuing to launch infrastructure projects that were destroyed by the war and projects that have expired, and today’s package of projects for the Water and Sanitation Corporation as a first stage, with the support of the brothers in UAE, our allies in the war, our partners in development,”.

The governor stressed that the local authority aims, through 14 projects, to address many of the problems facing water and sanitation, noting that the projects were according to the selection, study, and priorities of the Public Corporation for Water and Sanitation and under the direct supervision of the Corporation.

The Director General of the Water and Sanitation Corporation, Eng. Mohammed Bakhbeira, reviewed the details of 14 projects, including three for rehabilitating the sewage treatment plant in Al-Haswa, Kabota, and three construction projects to implement a main water transporter line from the isthmus pumping station to distribution tank, and three construction projects implementing a line Supplying Crater City, in addition to supplying equipment, spare parts, submersibles, pumps, purchasing an excavator, and a number of projects that were reviewed during the inauguration.
