Lamlas Meets Chairwoman of Aden Center for Anti-Drugs Awareness and Asserts the Importance of Facing Alien Social Phenomena
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, secretary general of the Southern Transitional Council, met Soad Olwi, chairwoman of Aden Center for Anti-Drugs Awareness, in the headquarters of the general secretariat.
During the meeting Mrs. Olwi presented a brief of the center’s activities and program during the previous period and how awareness raising programs initiated by the center participated in establishing a common culture about the risks of drugs for individuals, families and the community.
The secretary general appreciated the efforts of the center in anti-drug awareness rising adding that the role of the center is a noble social and humanitarian effort and such efforts will gain sufficient support.
Lamlas also indicated that the council supports all organizations and initiatives that contribute in establishing an enlightened and peace-loving culture in young generations to push them towards creativity and innovation and away from extremism and deviation. He asserted the willingness of the council to cooperate with the center to fulfill all its duties and noble humanitarian vision.
