Lamlas reviews progress of Cleanliness and Improvement Fund and emphasizes importance of highlighting Aden’s aesthetic appearance during Eid al-Fitr

The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, reviewed the progress of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund and the preparation plan for Eid al-Fitr.

Governor Lamlas listened to a detailed explanation from the Director General of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Qaid Rashid, and department heads regarding field programs, which include intensifying cleaning campaigns and removing waste from neighborhoods and main streets, in addition to the work mechanism during the Eid holidays.

Governor Lamlas stressed the importance of highlighting the aesthetic appearance of Aden by strengthening cleaning efforts in various districts, emphasizing the need to increase the pace of performance to ensure a clean and healthy environment for residents and visitors during Eid al-Fitr.

Lamlas discussed with the Fund’s leadership the difficulties and challenges facing the workflow, directing them to address obstacles and provide the necessary facilities to ensure the continuity of campaigns and achieve a tangible improvement in the level of services. The governor emphasized the importance of joint coordination between the Sanitation Fund and relevant authorities to ensure the success of the Eid cleanliness plan. He praised the efforts of field workers and called for redoubled efforts to maintain public cleanliness and enhance the city’s civilized appearance.
