Lamles and Lutsima agree to support the port of Aden the capital

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and Oak Lutisma, the resident representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), agreed in a meeting on Wednesday, to support the port of Aden, education and water facilities in the capital, Aden, with renewable energy.
The two sides reached the necessity of transforming the port of Aden into a major checkpoint for ships instead of the previous mechanism adopted in the port of Jeddah, aimed at regulating work.
Lamlas expressed his appreciation for the recent efforts of the representative of the United Nations Development Program for the port of Aden in the field of protection, urging the provision of renewable energy support for water utilities and education to reduce dependence on fuel and the burdens associated with it.
The meeting touched on the efforts of the United Nations Development Program during the current year, the government side’s vision for future interventions, and opportunities to support revenue-generating entities to enhance their efficiency in revenue collection.
