Launching 50 development and service projects in Hadhramaut

The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout bin Madi, inaugurated 50 development and service projects in the sectors of education, health, security, electricity, water, agriculture and roads in Wadi Al-Ain and Hura districts.

Governor bin Madi, along with the Governor’s Deputy for Valley and Desert Affairs, Amer Al-Amri, inaugurated the project to build the educational complex and the Department of Education in the district, the project to build the Civil Status Administration in the district, the project to build 6 classrooms and their annexes at the Ali Bin Abi Talib School, and the construction of 4 classrooms and their annexes at Al-Hurriya School in Al-Bouiraq, building a health center in Al-Khasha’a, rehabilitating the water project network (Jadiah with the compensated conveyor line – Diyar Nasser), a project to connect Al-Sharaa and Al-Ghaydah areas with electricity, and rehabilitating the well of the Shaaran Water Project with the supply and installation of solar energy for the project.

The line of the Wadi Al-Ain Al-Ghaydah Al-Sawla Sharj Al-Sharif water project was also inaugurated and rehabilitated, and solar energy was installed for Hura Water Project, as well as the installation of solar energy for the Hura – Qarat Al-Makhshin Water Project, and the completion of the construction of classrooms at Al-Istiklal School in Qalat, and the digging of an artesian well and the installation of solar energy for the Sadba Water Project, in addition to installing solar energy for the Qawdah Water Project, improving the school environment for Sumaya School, air conditioning Al-Khasha’a schools with 57 desert air conditioners, purchasing a car for the Wadi Al-Ain Water Project, purchasing equipment for the Wadi Al-Ain Water Project, installing solar energy for the Bahran Water Project and its environs, and air conditioning the school of the deceased Mani’ in Dhabab Girls. Improving the school environment for Al-Zahraa School, replacing the Malek-Al-Khashaa camp line, and digging an artesian well for the Bahran and its environs water project.

The governor and the governor’s deputy for valley and desert affairs inaugurated work on several projects in the Hoora Wadi Al-Ain District, which included the rehabilitation of Al-Ghaydah Culturewheel and the protection of the soil in the Sharj Al-Sharif area, the rehabilitation of the Tis Al-Maradi Waterwheel, the protection of the soil in the Al-Hashim area, the rehabilitation of the Dhamir Sakiyet Al-Jaribat, the rehabilitation of the Dhamir Sakiyyat Hisn Al Kardais, and the rehabilitation of Provided by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The Governor of Hadhramaut laid the foundation stone for the second phase of the 132 KV power discharge lines project from the (Kharir-Badra) gas station. It consists of a transmission line and 132K towers. With a length of 65 km and a 132/33 kV step-down conversion station with a capacity of 160 Megavolt Ampere.

Governor Bin Madi and Undersecretary Al-Ameri also laid the foundation stone for the project to complete the “Badra – Al-Mashhad Double Road” with a length of 8 km, funded by the local authority in the governorate.

In addition, the Governor of Hadhramaut and the Governor’s Undersecretary for Valley and Desert Affairs were briefed on the medical and health care services provided by Saleh Babiker Charitable Hospital in the Hoora Wadi Al-Ain District. They learned about the therapeutic services in clinics, medical camps and diagnostic units.

Governor Bin Madi and Undersecretary Al-Amiri inspected the first food cooperative exhibition held by the Wadi Al-Ain Foundation for Social Development in the “Al-Safil” area in the Wadi Al-Ain and Hura District.
