Lawyer Niran Souqi Receives Deputy Protection Coordinator at ICRC Mission

lawyer Niran Souqi, member of Presidency of the STC, Deputy chairman of the Assembly, received, on Thursday, at the headquarters of the Assembly, Mr.
L. katsharafa, Deputy Protection Coordinator, in charge of detention at International Committee of the Red Cross-ICRC, mission to Yemen.

In the meeting, they discussed ways to ensure joint cooperation and coordination between the STC and ICRC, including the human rights, the theoretical and practical training and qualifying program on the international norms and human rights.

Likewise, the meeting shed light on the humanitarian and service aspects provided to prisoners in central prisons and ways that could contribute to facilitating the necessary medical and concrete services.

To the end of the meeting, it was agreed to hold a number of training courses on the international norms and human rights, in addition to the security aspect and exchanging expertises as an extension of previous courses conducted by the ICRC.
