Leader in the Transitional Council reveals military move to confront the Houthis

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The deputy head of the media department of the Southern Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, revealed a military move to target the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
According to Saleh, Yemenis have two bad choices, according to his description; “Either a political settlement in which the Houthi militia is likely not to abide by the peace requirements and retain all its forces and effective control over the institutions and gain recognition, or the option of a military resolution, a choice that requires seriousness and honest leadership in fighting the battle and leaving the maneuvering box in which the previous system remained stagnant.”
Saleh added, in a statement to Al-Arab, “We expect that there will be a different military move, but this requires actual changes in the system of the military institution, and if there is political will and military force, that will if it does not achieve a resolution, at least it will contribute to achieving an honorable peace.”
