Brigadier General Jalal Nasser al-Rubaie, commander of the security belt forces in the capital, Aden, discussed, in a meeting on Wednesday, with leaders of sectors, points, security squares, and directors of departments, the progress of the campaign to prevent carrying weapons in all districts of the capital.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Aden Belt Command in the camp of the martyr Al-Shobaji in Khormaksar district, discussed ways to ensure the continuation of the implementation of the campaign continuously for the coming months at the level of security points, patrols and sectors, in addition to combating the promotion and sale of drugs.

Al-Rubaie stressed the continuation of the campaign to prevent weapons in response to the decision of the security committee headed by the governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, revealing the seizure of many weapons from violators of the decision.

He warned of the importance of concerted efforts between all security and military units and formations to prevent soldiers from carrying weapons outside of service, and to prevent the issuance of licenses for their possession indiscriminately.
