Local Authorities Withdraws from Supervising the Reconstruction file of Al-Tawahy
[su_label type=”info”]Aden – SMA News [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Abd El-Hameed Nasser Al-Shoaiby, general director of Al-Tawahy directorate, announced that local authorities of Al-Tawahy is withdrawing from the reconstruction file. The announcement came in meeting attended by Saud Ba Shaibany, general secretary; Sameer Al-Wahaby, head of planning committee; Mohamed Ba Nafea, head of public relations office at the Southern Commision for fighting Corruption; Abdulrahman Al-Shawy, vice chairman of districts committee and members of the executive office of the directorate and public figures. Al-Shoaiby indicated that local authorities worked on performing the reconstruction project according to principles of transparency and professionalism but the governorate’s reconstruction committee marginalized our role and did not commit with what was agreed upon concerning distribution and volume of work. He also noted that local authorities will never involve in what can be considered a sort of corruption.
