Local Leadership of Abian Discusses Reports of Local Leaderships of Zanzibar and Gishan and Department of Women in a Regular Meeting

[su_dropcap]L[/su_dropcap]ocal leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abian held its regular meeting on Wednesday January 30th, 2019 at the headquarters of Zanzibar local leadership. The meeting was headed by brigadier Aidarous Hukais, chairman of Abian local leadership with attendance of Mohsen Said, vice chairman of Abian local leadership, to discuss an agenda including reports of achievement filed by department of women and local leadership of Gishan. The meeting also discussed central directives to chairmen of local leaderships in governorates issued by president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi on January 21st, 2019.
The meeting started with a minute of mourning for the sole of colonel Abd Rabu Lashab, chairman of Al-Mahfed local leadership. Then president Aidarous Al-Zubabidi’s directives were discussed including the establishing the rules and regulations and guide for syndicates’ commissions and measures and standards for expansion in directorates and cities.
Wegdan Masek, chairwoman of women department, filed her report to the meeting about progress of governorate’s program and formation of women centers in Zanzibar and Khanfar as 7 women were selected for each center. She also discussed difficulties facing the work and activities and seminars performed during the past period.
Abdullah Al-Elwani, chairman of Gishan local leadership, filed a report about the council’s activity since establishment in February 22nd, 2018 till now, with all activities and events performed in the directorate. Finally, vice chairman of local leadership in Zanzibar filed a report about the council’s activities held in the directorate.
