Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Adan Holds the Expanded Consultation Meeting of Southern Syndicates and Academics
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Hussain Al-Gadany – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer] Under auspices of the local leadership of the southern transitional council in Adan, the expanded consultation meeting of southern syndicates and academics was held on Tuesday March 6th, 2018. Dr. Abd Al-Nasser Al-Waly, chairman of the council in Adan, Samy Khiran, chairman of the coordination commission of general union of southern syndicates, Dr. Hussain Al-Akel, chairman of the southern academic association and representatives of southern syndicates and academics attended the meeting. In his opening speech, Dr. Al-Waly asserted the significant role of southern syndicates and academics as the backbone of all aspects of development in the south. He confirmed that the southern transitional council respects privacy of the independent syndicates and will always back them up as partners in serving the country. He also indicated that this delicate stage requires all parties to unify efforts and find solutions for all problems that exhausted workers and citizens. Dr. Hussain Al-Akel refred to the systemic efforts for corrupting life in the south and how to deal with them. Samy Khiran talked in detail about the role of the union of syndicates for protecting southern workers’ rights. The meeting concluded that “The Supreme Coordinative Council” should be formed within a week with membership of representatives of each southern syndicate, nominated by his/her syndicate, and academics. The meeting also indicated that the council will be the official representative of all syndicates’ members and academics in Adan.
