Major General Al-Bahsani meets the team of the General Secretariat of the Union of literaturers and writers of the South and its branch in Hadramout Governorate

Major General Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Monday, in the city of Mukalla, with the team of the General Secretariat of the Union of literaturers and writers of the South, the editors-in-chief of magazines, the secretariat of Hadramout branch and the Valley and Desert Division.
During the meeting, Al-Bahsani heard from the President of the Union, Dr. Junaid Mohammed Al-Junaid, a brief explanation about the establishment of the Union of literaturers and writers, the founding stages of the branches in the southern governorates, and the roles and tasks assigned to its workflow. As well as the most prominent difficulties facing the workflow of the union and discussing ways to address them, during which he learned about the results of the August session of the current year of the General Secretariat held in Hadramout Governorate.
The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council saluted the efforts made by the leadership of the Union of literaturers and writers in enlightening and educating members of society, and providing them with the literary and cultural knowledge that the south abounds in, urging them to pay attention to the cultural awareness aspect, change the stereotype and misconceptions of some, and correct all of this through the word Honest, purposeful, constructive and effective influence among society.
Al-Bahsani held the Union of literaturers and writers in the South responsible for raising the level of awareness and understanding in the intellectual, literary and cultural aspects, by highlighting in the magazines and books issued by the Union the cultural heritage that the southern governorates abound in, once again supporting the efforts of the Union in order to enable it to implement the prepared plans and carry out its duty in the form Required.
