Major General Bin Brik discusses general situation of sports clubs and popular teams in Abyan

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly met on Sunday, with a number of youth leaders from Abyan Governorate.
The meeting discussed the general situation of sports clubs and popular teams in Abyan governorate and what they need in order to activate their sports and activities in line with the history and heritage of the governorate.
The meeting also discussed the issue of empowering southern youth in state institutions and facilities, whether in the south, in general, or in the Abyan governorate, in particular, and employing them according to their specializations and degrees.
Major General Bin Brik stressed that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council pays great importance to young people, as they are the pillars of the future and always calls for their proper employment, through the establishment of cultural and sports activities and events, and the support and refinement of their sports talents, by activating the role of youth clubs and popular teams and advancing their work in a way that fits with the nature of the governorate and its history.
With regard to empowering southern youth graduates, Major General Bin Brik stressed that this is one of the first tasks on the agenda of the leadership of the Transitional Council, during the near coming stage.
The meeting was attended by Mazen Mohsen Ali, Deputy Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in the National Assembly, Abdul Raqib Al-Shanbaki, Vice Head of the Public Committee in the Assembly, Mohammedi Nasser Al-Amoud, member of the Youth Committee in the National Assembly from Abyan Governorate, and Alaa Saleh, Head of the Human Rights Department in Abyan Governorate and Abdul Raqeeb Al-Sunaidi, Head of the Youth and Students Department in the Transitional Council in Abyan, and Abdul Rahman Al-Shaeri, Head of the Clubs Department in the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate.
