Major General Bin Brik gets acquainted on health situation and needed medical supplies

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, on Sunday, met Dr. Jalal Ba Awdah, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Planning and Development Sector at the Ministry of Health.
The meeting discussed the health situation and what it needs in terms of medical devices and supplies that contribute to supporting the health aspect and improving it.
The meeting reviewed a number of difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved in order to be able to provide a good medical service to the citizen.
The meeting, which was attended by Dr. Salma Bazarie, Vice-Chairman of the Health and Population Committee in the National Assembly, also touched on the support of local and international organizations for the health sector and their support for it in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The meeting referred to a number of strategic projects that the Ministry seeks to implement, including building health centers and complexes in order to reduce overcrowding and provide better health and medical services.
During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Health to improve the health aspect, stressing that the Southern Transitional Council supports all efforts that would improve the general situation at all levels in the country.
