Major General Bin Brik holds joint meeting with executive bodies of STC Aden in the capital and Abyan

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, held on Saturday, a joint meeting with members of the executive bodies of STC in Aden the capital and in Abyan Governorate.

In the meeting, which was attended by Brigadier General Pilot Nasser Al-Saadi, member of the Presidency of STC, Major General Bin Brik stressed the importance of coordinating actions in order to strengthen the unity of the southern ranks, enhance the home front, to overcome the challenges facing the people of the South and their cause, and to prepare for the upcoming important political events within the framework of efforts to end the war and bring peace to the region.

The Acting President of STC reviewed the strategic vision of STC and directions for the current and upcoming phase, and the evaluation of the work of the council’s local leaderships and bodies during the last period, with new southern personalities and components that about to join STC within the framework of the restructuring process that will include all the bodies of STC, as well as the southern security and military units, according to legal standards in order to raise the effectiveness and efficiency of the political and military sides.

Major General Bin Brik briefed the attendees on the results of the visits abroad of the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council headed by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of STC, indicating that any political victories achieved by STC is a victory for all for the efforts in the field, and it is the result of the efforts and steadfastness of our patient southern people who stand proudly behind their political leadership in order to achieve their legitimate aspirations to restore their state.

At the end of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik listened to a number of opinions, observations, inquiries and demands that aimed at enhancing the level of work, and he provided the necessary clarifications in this regard.
