Major General Bin Brik meets Executive Director of Economic Corporation

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Sunday, with Mr. Sami Saleh Al-Saidi, Executive Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation.
In the meeting, the general economic situation in the governorates of the South and solutions and treatments were discussed, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of citizens as a result of price increasing and economic suffering.
During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik stressed the need for the Corporation to provide the basic requirements of food and consumables, and to provide them at encouraging reasonable prices that take into account the economic conditions of citizens.
The meeting reviewed ways to establish factories affiliated with the Economic Corporation, the most important of which are silos and a salt factory, and to rehabilitate the activity of consumer complexes in the capital, Aden, and the southern governorates in general.
