Major General Bin Brik meets head of specialized penal prosecution in Aden the capital

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, on Monday, met with the head of the specialized penal prosecution in the capital, Aden, Judge Anis Nasser Ali.
The meeting, which was attended by lawyer Niran Souqi, member of the Presidency of STC, vice-chairman of the National Assembly, discussed the level of work performance in the prosecution, the difficulties facing its work, and ways to enhance joint cooperation with the prosecution for all that would achieve security and stability in the country.
Major General Bin Brik listened from Judge Anis to a brief on cases that are before the Prosecution and related to terrorism, drug trafficking and other issues, stressing the need to expedite the progress of procedures for such cases and the need to address outstanding issues.
The Acting President of STC praised the performance of the specialized penal prosecution in Aden the capital and the governorates of the South and the great efforts made by the prosecution in closing serious cases that destabilize security and stability and threaten the country’s national safety, such as cases of terrorism, drug smuggling and trade, and others.
