Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Monday, in the capital, Aden, Mr. Mohammed Awad Al-Saadi, representative of the Southern National Authority in Britain.

In the meeting that was attended by Mr. Lutfi Shatara, Head of the Research and Decision Support Center of the Transitional Council, Major General Bin Brik got briefed by the representative of the Southern National Authority on the activities of the Authority since its founding in 2007, by a number of southern leaders, in Sheffield, Britain, as national backup to the southern issue, illustrating from him to the support the National Authority provided to the South at home at an early date.

Major General Bin Brik stressed the necessity of continuing the southern national dialogue in its second phase, with all the southern components that were not able to engage in the first phase of the dialogue.

For his part, the representative of the Southern National Authority in Britain expressed his thanks to Major General Bin Brik for the good reception and warm-heartedness, praising the Transitional Council’s keenness on cohesion and southern alignment.
