Major General Bin Brik meets union committees of refineries and oil company in Aden the capital

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met separately on Sunday, with the union committees of Aden Refineries and the Oil Company in Aden the capital.
In the first meeting, Major General Bin Brik discussed with the union committees of Aden Refineries the issues related to the conduct of union and administrative work in the refineries, and ways to solve the existing problems regarding the conflict of union work, in a way that guarantees the progress of work, alleviates the suffering of citizens, defends the rights and demands of its employees and workers, and preserves property and public money, and improving the production and resources of establishments.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the Transitional Council leadership’s interest in the rights of workers and the advancement of union and organizational work and the conduct of work in accordance with the legal controls and regulations governing it, in a way that ensures the continuation of the refinery’s work and the provision of its services to the fullest and the elimination of all defects, corruption and tampering.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the importance of overcoming differences and convergence of views between everyone, commitment and work to account controls and punishment for anyone who proves his involvement in any issues that disrupt work, and to benefit from the experiences and expertise of existing local cadres according to their competence as needed, and for everyone to work with the principle of transparency and contribute to finding practical and scientific solutions.
The meeting was attended by Sanad Musa Ali, President of the Maintenance Syndicate, Abdullah Ali Al-Hajj, Secretary General of the Maintenance Syndicate, Adib Fadl, Head of the Coordination of Civil Society Organizations, and Nahid Al-Khudiri, the Procurement Controller.
In his meeting with the union committees of the oil company in the capital, Aden, Major General Bin Brik discussed the issues related to the work of the oil company and the problems raised by the company’s union and defining the relationship between the union committees in it on the one hand, and between Aden refineries and the company on the other hand, in a way that ensures that there is no overlapping of competencies, and no duplication in union work, the preservation of the company, its property and assets, and the rights of its employees and employees.
The meeting approved the preparation of a comprehensive vision that ensures the unification of work and its conduct in accordance with the special controls to ensure the achievement of results and the implementation of the points discussed during the meeting, and work to restart some facilities of the suspended company.
