Major General Bin Brik Meets with Commander of Second Military Region and Director of Hadramaut Coast Security

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Saturday, in Mukalla, with Major General Talib Bargash, Commander of the Second Military Region, and Brigadier General Matia Al-Menhali, Director of Hadramaut Coast Security.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the ninth anniversary of the liberation of Mukalla and the coastal districts from Al-Qaeda terrorist elements.
During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik was briefed on the security and military situation, the role of the Hadrami Elite Forces in maintaining security and public order, and the unity of its members, who come from all tribes and segments of Hadramaut. In this regard, Bin Braik stressed the importance of preserving the Hadrami Elite, given its significance and the common ground it represents for all Hadramis of all backgrounds. He pointed out that one of the reasons for the Elite Forces’ success is their reliance on qualified military cadres from Hadramout.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commander of the Second Military Region and the Director of Hadramout Coast Security thanked Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik for the warm welcome, wishing him good health, and appreciating his return and his role in uniting Hadramis despite his health condition.
