Major General Bin Brik meets with Head of Executive Committee of First Southern Conference (Cairo Conference)

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Wednesday, Mr. Abdul Majeed Saeed Wahdin, Head of the Executive Committee of the First Southern Conference (Cairo Conference).

At the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed Mr. Wahdin, who congratulated Major General Bin Brik, on his appointment as Vice-President of the STC, praising the success of the southern dialogue, which culminated in the holding of the consultative meeting and achieved a success not seen in the South years ago in the convergence of ideas, visions and southern consensus between all the components that participated in it and signed the Southern National Charter.
Wahdin called on the rest of the components to catch up with their southern brothers in uniting the ranks and powers of the South.
Mr. Wahdin also wished the National Assembly success in its sixth session, to be held in Mukalla, and to come out with decisions that support the success of the consultative meeting and promote restructuring within the institutions of the Southern Transitional Council.

The meeting discussed the southern issue in particular and the current situation in the region in general.
