Major General Bin Brik meets with representatives of Southern unions and federations

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, met on Saturday, with representatives of the Southern unions and federations.
At the outset of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik conveyed to the attendees the greetings of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of STC, informing them of the contents of the visits abroad of the leadership of STC, foremost of which is the visit to the Russian Federation within the framework of the efforts made by the leadership of STC to advance efforts towards stopping the war, establishing peace and resolving the issue of the South with just solution according to what our people accept.
In the context of his speech, Major General Bin Brik touched on the restructuring process that will include all the bodies of STC, as well as the Southern security and military units, indicating that the process is proceeding according to precise legal foundations and principles with the aim of raising the effectiveness and efficiency of the political and military sides.
Major General Bin Brik stressed that there is a great responsibility on the shoulders of the Southern trade unions and federations, as one of the oversight tools to straighten the work of institutions, fight corruption, and protect the rights of workers and employees.
After that, Major General Bin Brik listened to a number of opinions, observations, inquiries and demands from the attendees aimed at enhancing the work of trade unions and federations, stressing that they will be on the list of priorities of the leadership of STC during the upcoming stage.
