Major General Bin Brik meets with the Southern Teachers Syndicate

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, on Thursday, met with the Southern Educational Teachers Syndicate.
In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik was briefed by Mr. Qaid Al-Jaadi about the Syndicate’s situation and the suffering of the educational sector as a result of the difficult economic conditions the country is going through.
Al-Jaadi pointed out that the Syndicate is following up on the issues and rights of teachers with the concerned authorities in education and finance, to improve the livelihoods of teachers, and to demand and follow up on bonuses and their rights that have been suspended for years.
For his part, Major General Bin Brik affirmed the Southern Transitional Council leadership’s interest in education and teachers and their issues and their understanding of their demands and their usurped rights, stressing the need to improve the education and educational process through fairness to teachers and providing all possible means of support and assistance to the syndicate and teachers.
Major General Ahmed Saeed pointed out that education is the basis for building and advancing the nation, and its pioneering role in raising generations and immunizing them from destructive and abnormal ideas must be preserved.
Major-General Bin Brik praised the syndicate’s own efforts to preserve the teacher and his lofty role in enlightening generations and building societies, stressing the importance of the role of syndicate work, which bears the task of developing work, improving organizational performance, defending rights and issues, as well as promoting its concepts.
