Major General Bin Brik meets with Undersecretary of Al-Dhalea governorate for Education Affairs

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Wednesday in his office, with Mr. Abdullah Ali Al-Jabri, Undersecretary of Al-Dhalea governorate for Education Affairs.

In the meeting, which included Dr. Anis Luqman, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, and Major General Shalal Ali Shaye, Commander of Counter-Terrorism Forces, Al-Jabri reviewed the concerns and issues facing the educational process in Al-Dhalea governorate, and obstructing its progress, and its noticeable deterioration since 2015 war and the absence of the state’s role in practicing the tasks entrusted to it in all aspects.

Al-Jabri briefed Major General Bin Brik, on the conditions of the schools, which were demolished during the war, and the condition of their students who are now receiving their education in camps in the midst of the freezing cold.

For his part, Major General Ahmed Saeed stressed that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council pays great attention to the educational aspect, in both its basic and academic aspects, as it is the basis for the establishment and well-being of societies, in addition to the interest in rehabilitating the educational cadre so that the educational outputs befit the status of the state of the South.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Yahya Al-Shobaji, commander of the Sixth Resistance Brigade.
