Major General Bin Brik reviews the activities of “I Need You to Learn” initiative

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met with the head of the “I need you to learn” initiative, student Mohammed Anwar Ali.
In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed the head of the initiative and listened from him to the ideas and proposals put forward by the initiative, which aims to attract young people and exploit their positive energies in serving the country and raise its flag away from the politics and extremist ideas that young people submit to these days as a result of the environment prepared for them due to the ongoing educational chaos, and the absence of the government’s supervisory role over them, through establishing and implementing of some youth activities and events in the schools of Buriqa district.
The head of the “I need you to learn” initiative stressed that this is an initial step for the initiative, and that it will expand to the rest of the schools in the capital, Aden.
The Acting President of the Council praised the responsible patriotic spirit enjoyed by the head and members of the initiative and the good ideas they presented to him, providing them with a number of advices and moral support according to his life experience and his role as a father before being responsible for how to raise and develop the skills of young people through sports, cultural and social activities, as well as artistic, in order to promote their initiative properly.
Major General Bin Brik stressed that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council pays great attention to the youth sector, as they are a safety valve for the future and have a great positive energy that must be used well, away from any political or sectarian tendencies.
The meeting was attended by student Abdullah Fahmy Abdullah, deputy director of the initiative, and student Mohammad Ali Mohsen, the initiative’s financial officer.
