Major General Bin Brik stresses importance of Hadhramout media’s harmony with rest of governorates

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, on Sunday, at the Assembly’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, met with members of media in the executive bodies of the local leaderships of the Transitional Council in Hadhramout governorate.
In the meeting, which was attended by Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice-Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, head of the radio and television sector in the authority, and Dr. Bassem Mansour, Head of the Media Information Department, in the General Secretariat, member of the National Media Authority and Mohammed Al-Naqib, official spokesperson of the Southern Armed Forces, member of the Authority, Major General Bin Brik welcomed the media members from the various districts of Hadhramout governorate, expressing his happiness to meet them and exchange conversations with them after the media training course they received at the Media Training Center of the National Media Authority, which was organized by the Media Information Department in the General Secretariat for them in the capital is Aden.
The Major General added that the Council and its leadership are very keen on the appearance of the media in a manner befitting the South and its cause, by working to rehabilitate and develop the southern media, beginning with the media training course they received recently, praising the efforts of the Media Information Department and the National Media Authority in rehabilitating the southern national media cadre in that course and other media training courses that will follow.
Major General Bin Brik stressed that media should follow up on national events and issues from its official sources, warning against rumors and false news promoted by the hostile media about the South and its cause, calling on Hadhramout media to be a torch for the distinguished southern media work, stressing the importance of the harmony in the media message of Hadhramaut with the rest of the governorates of the South to be a distinguished model in media work that expresses the will of the people of the South.
Major General Bin Brik concluded his speech by emphasizing the need for Hadhramout journalists to show their distinction by applying what they have been trained on, and dealing with news and events in an appropriate manner, wishing them success in their missions.
The members of media in the executive bodies of the local leaderships of the Transitional Council in Hadhramout governorate expressed their happiness with this meeting, which reflects the keenness and interest of the leadership of the Transitional Council in rehabilitating the southern media cadres, stressing that they received great benefit from the training course they received, and that they will make every effort to apply what they have learned on work field.
