Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Socotri talks about the situation in Socotra
The assistant secretary general of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Socotri, delivered a quick statement about the situation in Socotra island.
Major General Salem Al-Socotri said that the security situation in Socotra today is stable, the points that the Governor, Ramzi Mahrous has created have been removed, after pursuing a hateful behavior directed at the immediate arrest of some people who love freedom, peace and justice and reject the Brotherhood project led by Qatar and Turkey, which are trying to impose it by force !!
Al-Socotri said: Socotra societal and its culture is peaceful and reject the policy of violence and exclusion. He stressed that Socotra announces its support for the steps taken by the Southern Transitional Council on April 25, 2020, and its declaration of a state of emergency and self-administration of the south.
Al-Socotri affirmed that Socotra is part of the southern community that seeks to liberate the land and the people and to cancel the disastrous unity agreement that was concluded on 22 May 1990.
