[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Mansour Saleh, a southern political analyst, indicated that the significance of Adan Historic Declaration is in creating a solid and legitimate ground for a political entity that represents the southern cause, a goal that all peaceful southern revolutionary powers sought for since July 7th, 2017. In his interview with Eram News, Saleh indicated that after one year of its establishment, the southern transitional council nearly completed its organizational structure and expanded in the whole south. In addition, the council succeeded to open communication channels with international organizations and other countries. This of course helped the south to be heard in the international assemblies. He also indicated that the council won the confidence of local and international societies and was recognized as a mature political organization that can express the southern cause rationally. He added that internal conspiracies by the government and Muslim Brotherhood and their fierce campaigns against the council created challenges and tried to keep the council busy in marginal conflicts. But the council can overcome all this. Saleh said that since its establishment, the council is the hope for all southern people to gain freedom as they consider the council as the representative of their hopes and expectations. Concerning the rumors that the council was formed as a reaction to the dismissal of Al-Zubaidi and Ben Brik from their positions in the government, Saleh said that Aidarous Al-Zubaidi called for forming a unified southern political entity to represent the south on September 8th, 2016, seven months before being dismissed with Ben Brik. He added that for seven months, the technical commission prepared all documents to declare the council.
