Mansour Saleh: There is no peace in the region and Yemen except with a just solution to the issue of the people of the South

Mansour Saleh, Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Southern Transitional Council, said that President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, renewed during his meeting with the American envoy the firm position of the Transitional Council in support of efforts to bring peace to the region.

Saleh pointed out the emphasis of President Al-Zubaidi in his diplomatic meetings on adhering to find a fair formula for the issue of the people of the South and reaching political solutions that guarantee the right to self-determination, referring to the Riyadh consultations and their provision for forming a joint negotiating delegation.

Mansour Saleh explained that there are complications in reaching a road map to reach lasting peace, which is the international community is aware of, stressing that there is no solution or peace in the region and Yemen except with a just solution to the issue of the people of the South.

Saleh warned against betting on appeasing the Iranian-backed Houthi militia to achieve peace, pointing to the importance of ending the occupation of the people of the south.
