Meagre Participation of Citizens in the October 14th Event at Al-Oroud Square, Called for by Fadi Ba Oum’s Movement, Supported by Qatar and other Leaders Loyal to Legitimacy

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] On Saturday October 13th, 2018, meagre crowds of citizens gathered in Al-Oroud Square in Aden in celebration of the 55th anniversary of October 14th revolutions. Crowds didn’t exceed tens of citizens. The event was called for by Muslim Brotherhood activists loyal to Ali Moshen Al-Ahmar and Fadi Ba Oum, with Qatari and Turkish support, on the social media. Participants, held photos of some martyrs of the October 14th revolution and southern flags. But, only eight persons participated as a result of the call of the southern transitional council not to celebrate the event. The council has a massive public base in the south as the main candidate to lead the south during the current and future stages. The whole south is waiting for president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi’s speech as he will talk about recent developments of the situation. Observers think that the council sent a clear message to the world that the southern people is not emotional and they follow the leadership of the council.
