Member of the Southern Transitive Council for Human Rights meets internees in Abian
[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Abian[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Member of the southern transitive council for human rights, Neeran Sawky, in accompaniment with a team from human rights department met internees in Zengbar – Abian who were arrested by the security belt forces and SWAT teams under commandership of Mohamed Al-Awban. The internees were arrested during the break up of an initiative demonstrating against celebrations of 26th September Revolution attended by Ahned Ben Doghr, prime minister of Yemen. Internees asserted to their visitors that they were hit by gun butts and sticks before being arrested and detained in the security belt camp prison. Internees also indicated that they were denied of their rights in addition to being hit and abused. The visiting human rights team documented all violations according to internees. The human rights department of the southern transitive council works on documenting all violations of human rights that the southern people suffer from during their struggle for freedom and independence.
