Minister of Education Meets with Aden Security Director to Discuss Cooperation and Joint Action

Minister of Education, Mr. Tariq Salem Al-Akbari, met in his office in Aden with Aden Security Director, Major General Mutahhar Al-Shuaibi. This meeting aims to strengthen coordination mechanisms between the Ministry of Education and the security services.
The meeting was devoted to discussing ways to cooperate and work together to address negative phenomena, support the regularity of the educational process in Aden, and provide a suitable environment for the smooth start of the next school year, especially in light of the current challenges. It also addressed ways to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and combat them.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Akbari emphasized the importance of formulating a media discourse that contributes to reducing tensions between state institutions and focusing on joint practical measures to ensure the protection of students and teachers and the smooth resumption of studies in all schools.
He pointed out that the next phase requires more solidarity and cooperation between various government agencies, civil society organizations, and citizens to ensure the continuity of educational work without interruption, and to protect students and safeguard them from falling into the clutches of drugs by spreading behavioral awareness among them. He noted that the responsibility of protecting young people requires the combined efforts of various official and community agencies.
For his part, Major General Al-Shaibi praised the efforts of the Ministry of Education in confronting and addressing many of the problems facing the educational process, stressing the readiness of Aden Security to support the educational sector, detect any violations that hinder the continuity of education, and address any negative phenomena by enhancing cooperation and coordination with relevant authorities.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Curricula and Guidance Sector, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Shawdhabi; the Undersecretary of the Training and Rehabilitation Sector, Dr. Zaid Al-Naqeeb; the Undersecretary of the Projects and Equipment Sector, Engineer Salem Yaamar; and a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Dr. Lutfi Shatara.
