Minister of Transport confirms readiness of southern airports to receive Jordanian airlines flights

Abdul Salam Saleh Humaid, Minister of Transport, during his reception on Wednesday, the technical team of the Royal Jordanian Airlines, discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries and resume flights to the Kingdom.
The Minister stressed the state of stability and security in the capital, Aden, in various aspects and the technical and security readiness of Aden International Airport and airports in the liberated governorates to receive Jordanian flights.
Humaid pointed to the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and the General Authority of Civil Aviation in normalizing the situation and operating airports and the extent of their compliance with internationally recognized requirements, and resuming domestic flights, pointing to the challenges faced by Yemeni Airlines after the aggression of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias and its efforts to cover the increasing demand for domestic and international flights.
He expressed his welcome to various companies, airlines and agents of air navigation offices from brothers and friends to meet the needs of society and open broader horizons of coordination for flights.
The Minister of Transport stressed the readiness of Aden International Airport and the liberated airports to receive flights and provide facilities for the return of airlines, explaining that preparations are ongoing to rehabilitate the landing and take-off runways at Aden Airport by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program.
The technical team of the Royal Jordanian Airlines Company expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, praising the stability of the security situation in the capital Aden and the technical, security and professional readiness of Aden International Airport.
