Minister of Transport, Dr. Humaid, heads an official delegation to the British capital, London

The Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Saleh Humaid, participated at the head of our country’s delegation participating in the 33rd session of the General Assembly Conference of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) at its headquarters in London of the United Kingdom, which lasts during the period November 27 to December 5, 2023.
Our country’s delegation included our country’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dr. Yassin Saeed Noman, the Undersecretary for the Maritime and Ports Affairs Sector, Captain Ali Al-Subhi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arabian Sea Ports Corporation, Eng. Salem Basmir, the Director General of the Minister’s Office, Bassam Al-Muflhi, and the First Secretary at our country’s embassy in the Kingdom, Badr Dholi.
At the meeting, the participating delegations unanimously elected His Highness Prince Khaled Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as President of the General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization, and elected two vice-presidents and chairs of the two basic committees of the organization’s committees.
