SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Ministry of Transport condemned the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia’s attacks on the oil ports in Hadramout and Shabwa governorates, after its renewed targeting of Al-Dhaba oil port by drones.
The Ministry expressed its denunciation of these terrorist attacks, which reach to war crimes, violate international laws for maritime activity, and threaten international maritime navigation.
The Ministry of Transport called on the United Nations, the International Security Council and humanitarian organizations to put pressure on the terrorist militia and take a firm stand to stop its criminal acts, stressing that these militias do not want peace and stability because they can only live in the shadow of wars and conflicts.
The Ministry of Transport warned in its statement that the recurrence of these attacks exceeds their damage to the port infrastructure to deepen the economic and humanitarian crisis, leading to its negative impact on the region, energy supplies and international shipping lines.
