Ministry of Transportation about the Houthi rumors: No approval from the coalition to transfer ships to Hodeidah

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
Dr. Abd al-Salam Salih Humaid discussed, in a meeting on Wednesday, at the ministry’s office in the capital, Aden, with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, rumors of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia about the coalition’s agreement to transfer shipping lines and cargo ships to the ports of Hodeidah.
In a statement, the two ministries called on merchants to pay attention to the rumors, denying any amendment to the procedures for entry of goods to ports, including the port of Hodeidah.
The statement indicated that the widespread rumors are pure lies and an attempt to circumvent the law and the mechanisms agreed upon with the leadership of the coalition and the United Nations, warning against being drawn into the rumors of the terrorist Houthi militia.
The meeting considered the militia rumors merely an attempt to evade the obligation to apply the legal procedures in force, stressing that the perpetrators would be subject to legal penalties, leading to blacklisting.
He revealed the intention of the Ministries of Transport and Trade to announce a set of measures to regulate the movement of trade in various ports to ensure easy and smooth arrival of goods and raise the efficiency of the process of transporting and delivering various goods and commodities.
