Mukalla is getting prepared to convene the National Assembly 6th session

The city of Mukalla on the coast of Hadramout governorate, on Monday, witnessed a meeting of the leadership of the executive body of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the district, with the participation of the heads of the local committees of the council’s centers and the women’s sectors.

The meeting discussed the reception ceremony of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Cpuncil, and the leaders of STC accompanying him, from the masses of citizens during his upcoming visit to the city, and the visions for organizing large crowds along the main street of Al-Rayyan International Airport, to the city of Mukalla.

The meeting touched on the convening of the 6th session of the National Assembly scheduled for May 21, and its implications for the regional and international communities, as the session coincides with the 29th anniversary of the declaration of disengagement from the Yemeni Arab Republic from Mukalla in 1994.

The attendees stressed the role of the centers in mobilizing energies and efforts to make the exceptional event a success, with the participation of President Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.

The preparatory committee for the activities of the 6th session of the National Assembly began decorating the streets of Mukalla with the flags of the state of the South, to receive delegations from all the governorates of the South.
