“Holding this round in Al-Makla – Hadhramaut is politically significant because of the geographic and political weight of Hadhramaut after Aden. The council proved its ability for political arrangement and organization in a very short time. The council is working on establishing political and military bases and pillars of the southern state on a solid ground that is totally different from what happened before in previous stages of the revolution. These efforts are under leadership of president Aidarous Kassem Al-Zubaidi, president of the Southern Transitional Council, and General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, chairman of the Southern National Assembly in addition to the council’s presidency. We are very grateful to UAE for its continuous support to us in all fields.
