National Southern Media Authority condemns banning Egyptian journalists to enter Aden the capital

The National Southern Media Authority issued on Tuesday, a statement condemning the ban on Egyptian journalists from entering the capital, Aden, upon the request of the Minister of Information in the parity government emanating from the Riyadh Agreement.

The Authority confirmed that this method is part of a series of violations against southern and Arab journalists, and the ongoing policy of extortion and intimidation by political Islam groups.

In its statement, the authority condemned the Yemeni Ministry of Communications’ ban against the UAE-based Al-Ain newspaper’s website.

In its statement, the National Southern Media Authority also announced its solidarity with journalist Hani Mashour, who was subjected to threats by well-known parties with ties to terrorist organizations after he revealed the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen and its extension and the danger it poses against Arab national security.

Statement of Condemnation

The National Southern Media Authority condemns the process of preventing Egyptian journalists from entering the capital, Aden, at the request of the Minister of Information in the parity government emanating from the Riyadh Agreement.

The authority also condemns the ban by the Yemeni Ministry of Communications on the website of Al-Ain news newspaper, based in the United Arab Emirates.

The National Southern Media Authority announces its solidarity with fellow journalist Hani Mashour, who was subjected to threats by parties known to be associated with terrorist organizations after he revealed the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen and its extension and the danger it poses to Arab national security.
