National Southern Media Authority stands before imbalances in celebration event in Mansoura

The National Southern Media Authority, on Monday, held its periodic meeting, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the Authority.
At the outset of the meeting, the Authority congratulated the masses of the southern people on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the Southern National Independence Day, the 30th of November.
In its meeting, the authority stood before a number of issues on its agenda, including discussing the events held on this occasion in the capital, Aden, especially in Mansoura district, and the accompanying unacceptable imbalances that were directed to target the National Media Authority and its efforts in organizing and developing southern media.
The authority was surprised that its name was included, and that it was held responsible for the imbalances that accompanied some of these activities.
According to that, the National Southern Media Authority would like to clarify the following:
1- The National Southern Media Authority confirms that it has not been consulted in organizing the media aspect accompanying these events.
2-The authorities that managed and organized the event held in Mansoura district of the capital, Aden, were met by the Media Authority, and pledged to consult and coordinate with the Media Authority in any media work in the future and not to repeat what happened again.
3- The National Southern Media Authority calls on all media institutions to obtain official permits from the media office of Aden the capital, in advance for any event to be held in the capital, attached with the program of the event that will be held.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the National Southern Media Authority saluted the live conscience of the southern media activists who stood in front of these unacceptable imbalances, stressing that it would take a number of measures that would not allow the recurrence of such imbalances that target the national identity of the southern people.
