National Southern Media Authority stands before outcomes of its symposium ” Dealing of Brotherhood’s Media with Terror Crimes in the South”

The National Southern Media Authority, on Thursday, held its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the National Media Authority.
The meeting started by reviewing the agenda and assignments approved in the previous meeting, top of which are the annual reports of the sectors that will be submitted to the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council for discussion and approval.
The meeting then stood before the outcomes of the symposium organized by the Authority last Monday on “the Brotherhood’s media dealing with terrorism crimes in the South”, and the level of interaction and influence it achieved, and the qualitative attendance of the participants, and the papers presented therein.
The Authority indicated that the important recommendations came out of the symposium confirm the stability of the Southern Transitional Council in its approach and position against terrorist organizations and the groups that support them. In the context, the Authority thanked all the parties and personalities who interacted with the symposium and contributed to its success.
After that, the meeting reviewed the report submitted by the media department, regarding the difficulties and obstacles encountered in its work, in addition to its vision, regarding the development of the work of the official website of the Southern Transitional Council, to ensure that it keeps pace with the rapid technical and practical developments.
In conclusion, the meeting listened to a brief explanation from the head of the modern press and media sector about the status of media centers and websites affiliated with the sector.
