NSMA Holds Regular Meeting Headed by Al-Awlaqi

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its periodic meeting on Sunday, headed by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of NSMA and official spokesman of the STC.
During the meeting, NSMA reviewed the service conditions in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of the South, especially the deterioration of electricity service, calling on the government to assume its responsibilities and inform the local public about all developments in the electricity file in particular and services in general.
In addition to that, NSMA discussed the media training and qualification projects that it will undertake to develop the skills of the journalists, media staff, the press sector, modern media, and the military media center, and approved holding a course on content industry and campaign management next week.
Furthermore, NSMA urged the political, military, security, and media bodies to participate in the symposium that will be held by the Military Media Center tomorrow, Monday, entitled “Achievements of our Southern Armed Forces in the War on Terrorism: Their Importance and Impact on the International and Regional Levels.”
The authority also reviewed a range of topics related to its media activities and took a number of measures in this regard.
