NSMA Honors Arab Traveler Jihad Hattab with Shield Award

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), honored today, Thursday, renowned Arab traveler Jihad Hattab with NSMA’s shield at a celebration held in the capital, Aden. The shield award was in recognition of Hattab’s distinguished efforts in highlighting the historical and cultural aspects of the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates of the South.

Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe’y, deputy head of NSMA, praised the significant role played by Hattab in spreading heritage, history, and culture throughout the Arab world and globally through his travels and documentation on social media platforms.

Mr. Al-Yafe’y stated that Jihad Hattab is an exemplary model for Arab youth, noting that his work contributes significantly to enhancing cultural and historical awareness among the public and works to attract tourism to the areas he visits, which are rich in tourist, historical, and cultural landmarks.

For his part, Mr. Hattab expressed his gratitude and appreciation to NSMA for this honor and the facilities provided to him and his accompanying team, affirming his continued commitment to his documentary journeys aimed at shedding light on the beauty and diversity of the Arab world.
