Youth and Sports Department holds meeting with youth and community initiatives in Aden the capital

The Youth and Sports Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Sunday, held a meeting with a number of leaders of youth and community initiatives in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Secretary-General.
During the meeting, Al-Jaadi praised the great role played by youth initiatives to serve the issues of youth and society and contribute to the development of youth capabilities and enhance their roles in society, pointing to the importance of redoubling efforts and highlighting the various youth creativity and innovations.

For his part, Al-Kuraihi Kanaan, head of the Youth and Sports Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council, pointed out the importance of celebrating International Youth Day and making the necessary preparations to celebrate this occasion in a distinctive and appropriate way for this international day.

Al-Kuraihi stressed the keenness of the department and its interest in youth initiatives operating in the field, and the adoption of various youth activities and events.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation and discussed the implementation of many activities to enhance the capabilities of youth initiatives to serve the community and celebrate youth and their mighty roles in the nation’s renaissance.

For their part, representatives of youth initiatives presented a number of ideas for joint action, thanking the interest and keenness of the Southern Transitional Council, represented by the Department of Youth and Sports, to adopt and support youth and youth initiatives and work to enhance their role in society.
